The reason I'm asking this community is that I have three laptops running Mojave 10.14.5 and they're all the same except one of them doesn't do auto-updates. So I'm looking for Mac ideas for a product that's working but not on one Mac.
- An update is already in progress office mac, Aug 06, 2020 Sometimes, however, when the patch, or maybe even service pack, is being installed during shutdown or startup, the update installation gets stuck—freezes, locks up, stops, hangs, clocks, whatever you want to call it. Windows Update is taking forever and it's clear something needs to be done.
- The template can contain HTML and markup. For example, you can display an animated image that notifies the user that the postback is processing. You can also display a button that the user can click to stop the partial-page update. Additionally, you might want to prevent all other postbacks while one is in progress.
I have uninstalled Office and reinstalled from scratch.
I have reinstalled MACOS from the offline server.
I have tried it in SAFE MODE.
I have tried another user (admin) and my primary account is an admin.
I have run Cocktail and Disk Utility.
My observations of the problem:
MAU - Microsoft Auto-Update runs and identifies there are updates for Word, Excel, etc.
It begins downloading the packages for each application.
The progress bar says each one is downloading but the overall progress bar resets after each download - telling me it might not be completing the download - I will provide a copy of the log shortly.
The message from MAU is that one or more application packages could not be downloaded.
If I download the entire package manually from the MS website and install manual it works and problem-solved until the next update when I start again (groundhog day).
Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.
